Acceptance of Terms
By registering, posting a project, submitting a bid, or using BlueHippo in any way, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not abide by these terms and conditions, please refrain from accessing or using the website or application.
Eligibility
This application is available for users who are at least 18 years of age and capable of entering into a legally binding contract to use the platform.
Key Terms
You are responsible for keeping your account login details secure and for any actions taken through your account.
- Project Owners: Must provide valid information and accurate project descriptions.
- Project Seeker: Must ensure profiles and qualifications are current and genuine.
- Services: On BlueHippo, the offers can be hourly, part-time, or full-time, depending on the length of your contract.
- Hourly Contract: Order based on an hourly rate.
- Part-Time Contract: Order based on a part-time basis.
- Full-Time Contract: Order based on a full-time basis.
- Pitch the Project: The project seeker bids on the project.
Overview
Only registered users can post or bid on projects on BlueHippo. Signing up for an account, you agree to provide us with accurate, complete and updated information regarding your business or personal information, and update these details as required, without any delay.
You must not create an account for fraudulent or misleading purposes. You are accountable for any activity on your account and for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your password. We are not liable for any acts or omissions by you in connection with your account.
- Job Seekers must fulfill their order once the bid proposal is finalised, and may not cancel orders on a regular basis or without cause. Cancelling orders will affect the Job Seeker’s profile level.
- Job Owners / Job Seekers may not offer or accept payments using any method other than placing an order through BlueHippo.io
- Job Owners must post projects with clear deliverables, timelines, and budgets.
- Job Seekers must submit proposals and bid on available projects.
- Job Owners and Job Seekers negotiate terms, milestones, and rates independently.

Payment
Payments can be set on an hourly, part-time, or full-time basis, as agreed upon by both the Job Owners and Job Seekers. The agreed-upon payment frequency will be specified in the project details between the Job Owners and Job Seekers.
- BlueHippo may charge a platform or service fee, which will be disclosed during the transaction.
- All payments are processed via integrated third-party providers.
- Freelancers are responsible for all applicable taxes.
- Job Owners payment method will be charged automatically according to the agreed-upon payment frequency. Job Owners are responsible for ensuring sufficient funds are available for the payments.
Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Violate any laws or third-party rights.
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content.
- Circumvent the platform for off-site payments or agreements.
Deactivation or Disabling of Account
BlueHippo may hold or suspend your account without notice for violating these terms, including low quality services, late deliveries, or due to inappropriate use of the application.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
